Why Forgd exists
I've spent over 20 years building software. I've worked in agencies, startups, and large organisations. I've seen what good software can do for a business - and I've seen what happens when it's done badly.
The same problem kept coming up. Small businesses were stuck between two bad options: either making do with spreadsheets and off-the-shelf tools that didn't quite fit, or paying agency prices for software they couldn't afford to maintain.
Meanwhile, AI has changed what's possible. I can now build in days what used to take weeks - without cutting corners. That means custom software is finally accessible to businesses that could never have afforded it before.
That's why I started Forgd. To give small businesses proper software - built around how they actually work, managed ongoing so they never have to worry about the technical side. No jargon, no surprises, no disappearing after handover.
